Arriving August 25th, the largest mass censorship act will soon become operational in the EU passing in complete silence as MSM and Kalergi politicians smile smugly knowing their political opponents will be censored & suspended.
The EU Digital Safety Act will demand all large social media companies to "remove illegal content, hate speech and so-called disinformation from their platforms. If not, they risk fines of up to 6% of their annual global revenue." โ
The EU communists will censor online speech and suspend anyone for:
Medical Misinfo: questioning the covid scamdemic
Civic Misinfo: question the integrity of the regime's elections
Crisis Misinfo: questioning the war in Ukraine.
Free speech is a danger to their democracy
The future is offline. Its a whole world outside, there are places where you can communicate information. This travesty, forces people to go back to community. And theyll need to separate the wheat from the chaff.
Good to have technical solutions to their bullshit.
Let's see how the implementation of those directive will progress.
They can't demand anything like that, only within the EU and nowhere else. But as a Brit I can just see our government kow towing to this.
Governments routinely demand compliance outside their borders. The US has been doing it for years. Sometimes with carrots (foreign aid), sometimes with sanctions, but usually under the radar with bribes and favors so that foreign countries pass laws they want, often laws that wouldn't be legal here in the US.
The EU has done it too.
Enforcement is tricky.

The USA did shut down and seize assets of online poker companies a couple years back who were operating in foreign countries and used money laundering as the motive.
I guess the EU can do the same now with online speech. Insane what is happening in the world with Gov overreach.
