You’re either correcting someone’s grammar or now it seems criticizing the accent of a geographical area in the US.
If this wasn’t your intention, I apologize, but as someone who speaks many languages (you describe yourself this way), this clip shouldn’t be difficult to understand.
As a matter of fact, in my travels I’ve met many people whose favorite accent in the USA is the southern one.
I am not from southern US, either.

To be honest, I tried several times to understand her but gave up out of frustration. I really wanted to understand what she said.
FYI: I was raised in MD but now reside behind enemy lines in CA.
