Today, during an interview with CNN, Joe Biden admitted the United States military is low on ammunition. Yes, for all the world to hear, including our enemies, Joe Biden plainly said the United States military is low on some types of ammunition. This apparently is why he approved sending ‘cluster bombs’ to Ukraine.
Here's an interesting idea for the government to raise funds: Release ALL of the ammo that has been acquired by the IRS, DOE, and other agencies and sell it all on the open market here at home, and at reasonable prices. We The People will then be better able to defend America than any of those agencies ever could.
This. And do we believe we’re low? Remember DHS taking bids back in 2015 for 1.6 B rounds? They said it was for training. Social Security too but iirc it was hollow point or something particular that you wouldn’t use for training and also wasn’t used in conflict.

5.56 right now costs me twice as much as 6.5x55 Swedish Mauser rounds. I figured this was why.
That's also why the supply of reloading components is so low -- and so expensive.
