Welcome to General Chat - GAW Community Area
This General Chat area started off as a place for people to talk about things that are off topic, however it has quickly evolved into a community and has become an integral part of the GAW experience for many of us.
Based on its evolving needs and plenty of user feedback, we are trying to bring some order and institute some rules. Please make sure you read these rules and participate in the spirit of this community.
Rules for General Chat
-
Be respectful to each other. This is of utmost importance, and comments may be removed if deemed not respectful.
-
Avoid long drawn out arguments. This should be a place to relax, not to waste your time needlessly.
-
Personal anecdotes, puzzles, cute pics/clips - everything welcome
-
Please do not spam at the top level. If you have a lot to post each day, try and post them all together in one top level comment
-
Try keep things light. If you are bringing in deep stuff, try not to go overboard.
-
Things that are clearly on-topic for this board should be posted as a separate post and not here (except if you are new and still getting the feel of this place)
-
If you find people violating these rules, deport them rather than start a argument here.
-
Feel free to give feedback as these rules are expected to keep evoloving
In short, imagine this thread to be a local community hall where we all gather and chat daily. Please be respectful to others in the same way
A non woke doc. Try https://covid19criticalcare.com/providers/
No, never going to another doctor of any kind. Thanks anyway.
Sorry to hear. If there was an MD who is also an anon would you consider seeing them? Just online. There's gotta be some.
Not really but thanks , the high blood pressure medicine is what destroy the kidneys. She stopped using it and has same results pressure wise, was hoping ivermectin or some herb would work. Thanks again.
There's several different herbs that will reduce high blood pressure. Herbs work differently than prescriptions. It can take 3-6 months to notice improvement from plant medicine. What works for one person might not work for another person. Many times you can be on a herbal medicine and think it's not helping. I've experienced this many times and stopped after several months then I found out it was helping. It's hard to explain. Essentially pharmaceutical drugs put a bandaid on the medical problem. Plants are meant to heal the problem. I've been taking Moringa since October last year and my BP is lower than it's been in twenty years. I stopped taking BP several years ago. It was stupid to stop and still have high BP but I've been on meds since 1998 for chronic pain. I got to the point either they weren't helping or I was getting unbearable side affects. Once I learned about essential oils and plant medicine a light bulb went off just how bad big pharma is and the doctors are a huge part of the problem. However, most certified herbalist will tell you there may be times you need a doctor. Especially for antibiotics, severe medical problems that require treatment and surgery. I wouldn't be here today if I hadn't gone to ER in February and I went because my pain was unbearable. I know how to treat pain naturally and that was a red flag for me when I couldn't control the pain.
Get on YouTube and watch videos by certified herbalist and there are some good doctors explaining supplements and herbs for health problems. Also double check the information because there's a lot of bad information out there. Get books on herbal medicine.
I don't know if detox herbs would help your situation. Detox herbs clear out liver, kidney or gut. I keep detox herbal tea on hand if I get a cold or get exposed. I don't take them on a regular basis.
Herbal tinctures will be the strongest way to take herbs. Next is herbal capsules. If you need information on small stores that sell tinctures I can share where I shop online. Some are on Etsy and others have their own website. Treating with herbs is usually a dosage three times a day. Tinctures aren't ideal for travel. I keep herbal capsules for travel.
Some people have success using CBD to lower BP. I have tried CBD but not long enough to notice a change in any health conditions.
Years ago I was in some very good herbal medicine groups on Facebook. I learned a lot over several years. I can't recommend any, I got off Facebook over two years ago. I miss the groups but not enough to get back on Facebook.
Below are links of good sites online that might get you started. I searched "certified herbalist blog". I'm only posting sites I've followed for several years.
