Polite? I don't believe I have ever encountered one person in my life with that name, and I knew someone named Dick N. Cherry.

My guess is someone was about to throw him under the bus!

Might be a bad thing in a sense of if he wasn't bowing to DS demands... then again, an Obama appointee and they eat their own so who knows?
