How horrifying. If this was shown on American News, people would be shocked. I knew there were problems in France since the 1970s. I was traveling and stopped in Marseille, France. To save some expenses, we thought we'd sleep on the beach. Soon someone (English) told us it was a very bad idea because of the Algerian gangs that roamed there. He mentioned they'd cut your throat to steal your shoes. We didn't really have any other options at the time. So, we decided to chance it. Just as I started to fall asleep, I heard someone approaching and then saw someone hiding behind one of the big rocks close to us. The shuffling around alerted me that we were being surveyed. I woke my traveling friend up and we decided to quickly move on. I heard so many stories of the crime there and most of it was due to the Algerian/Muslim population.
The serious problems have historically been Algerians in France (especially following the rebellion) and Turks in Germany.this opened the door to wider immigration and deeper problems. Europe can probably not be recovered.
