Frank Herberts Dune novels, surprisingly enough, are extremely thematically relevant to these Last Days: AI, life extension, consciousness expansion, tyranny, classism, the manipulation of prophecy and the merger of cult and state, the definition of humanity and its preservation, etc.

A must have on any dystopian/red pill reading list.
