It is so that Israel would be holy, i.e. set apart and distinct from the other nations. It discouraged table fellowship and intermarriage with idolaters who regularly sacrificed and ate swine, camel, dog, rat, etc.
If Israel completely assimilated and ceased to be separate there would be no Messianic lineage, no promised Messianic Return, no Resurrection of the dead, and no future Messianic Kingdom.

Assuming that your interpretation (out of context) is the correct one - where does it say you are to ever hate the Jews? In fact a Jew which is one inwardly would never dream of hating a Jew which is one outwardly. Heaven Forbid!
God and His Torah have always kept the Jews/Israel a distinct people among the nations. This is true because God says so in Holy Scripture. He’s already done it (kept the Jews distinct during one exile) and He’s currently doing it again.
Paul states in his letter to the Roman Jewish and Gentile disciples of Yeshua, that concerning the Jews, to them belong the covenants, all the promises, the Holy oracles/revelations (including esp. Holy Scripture) and the very Messiah Himself! And Paul further plainly states that these gifts and callings to, of and from the Jews are from God without repentance.
You say they are a “Group of Eastern Europeans” who adopted a religion and convinced the world they’re the most hated persecuted group historically on the planet? And they could somehow all read and keep copies of Hebrew Torah scrolls? And always got accused of being “Christ-Killer” or some other blood libel? THIS is the group that you now believe are fake Jews? You think the devil pulled a fast one on himself did ya?
You need to know the truth on this matter. Brush up on Paul’s Epistle to the Romans chapters 9 to 11.

My reply wasn’t a rebuke. But an answer to anyone else who might decide to hate the Bible because of the perceived evil of multiple versions. I’m sure that’s not something you’d intended so I pointed out the valid reasons for multiple versions.
Elohim is translated as singular “God” when the verb is conjugated in Hebrew as third person singular. Verb conjugation and context cannot be ignored when dealing with foreign languages. Using plural forms to denote singular nouns is a common Hebraicism (e.g. behemoth, mayim/water, shamayim/Heaven, panim/face).
Ignoring the Hebrew context of the Hebrew Scriptures is foolish at best and evil at worst. Paul writes in Romans that the Oracles (i.e. Scriptures) of God are entrusted to the Jews as gifts and callings from God without repentance.
The Canon wasn’t “Selected”. It was recognized. Holy Scriptures were being commonly used by Spirit-filled assemblies en masse and a bunch of self-important muckity mucks were trying to bring in heresies with gnostic forgeries or historical religious books that, although good, were uninspired.
And incidentally “Israel last” is Antichrist’s plan.
One can believe that God is a liar and can’t protect His Word but that is a dangerous game of chicken. The Holy Spirit guides us into all truth by bringing to remembrance those things revealed to us through His Son. His Son said not one jot or tittle would pass away from His Torah. Heaven and earth will pass away, He said, but not one of His words would ever pass away. You either believe it or not. Let God be true and every man a liar.

All the “Versions” are translations from the same core manuscripts. Same original language manuscripts - different translation teams.
Some translation teams are from all Catholics. Some are from various denominations. Some use older English. Some use updated English, etc.
Some versions translate more literally word for word (YLT, KJV) and some translate more dynamically thought for thought (NLT).
If you really want to nitpick, learn Hebrew, Judeo-Aramaic and Koine Greek and read the early manuscripts. Or just use the myriad Bible tools like a Strong’s Concordance for reference.
