It does make sense because she did tear up the then "face of god" on SNL and uttered "fight the real power." Sadly, the real power got her.

It wasn't a picture of God (pretty sure he hasn't posted any selfies), she ripped up a picture of the Catholic Pope in protest of the child sexual abuse scandals.
