Ok I'm beginning to think with Joe and now Mitch that the end goal is to put an age limit on the presidency (and other government offices), similar to how you must be 35 years or older to be president. And it will naturally be younger than President Trump.
The problem with age and term limits is that if we ever get a good person in there, they’ll age / term them out. Meanwhile, the monied interests will just run younger puppets for shorter terms and we will have a harder time figuring out who is bought and paid for and who really wants to represent the people.
The billionaires that buy these puppets are cheering on age and term limits. Younger, naive puppets are cheaper to buy after all. Same reason Hollywood prefers to make cheap movies with no-name actors.
