Why? Two things can be true.

some ppl will grow old there rightfully so.
some ppl will be executed for their crimes.

No.

These crimes are so heinous that these people must be made an example of.

Send a message to those that ever contemplate this sort of evil.

If I had my way, they’d have their entrails ripped out publicly until they succumbed to their injuries.

I would personally do it myself.

There’s almost a half a million sealed indictments. Even if they executed 400,000 people there is still 100,000 lower level crimes that still need to be punished but may not be worth death and 100,000 is still a lot of people.
