McMahon's name is in the news that his mansion has been raided by feds for a sex accusation. Most people that know Vince say he's not a nice guy, so I wouldn't put my hand in fire for the guy. But there are a number of reasons that makes me believe he may be more central to The Plan.
For starters, DJT followed only 45 individuals on Twitter when he was President. Vince McMahon was one of them. Why? Because they grappled in the ring for a WWE event?
If you recall at the 2016 Republican convention, DJT's entry was almost identical to that of a WWE wrestler. Many commentators even made the comparison. Was he already foreshadowing at the time?
But here is the most important reason, why the White Hats may have tapped the skills of McMahon since the start. He's simply the best in the world in creating semi reality TV.
Vince took a wrestling federation that fought in school gyms into a multi billion enterprise. Vince can take a dull nobody, and instantly turn them into an beloved hero or hated villain. There have been countless wrestling association wannabes, but nobody could come close to the story telling that Vince exhibited in the WWE. Vince's storytelling in the WWE has always blurred the lines between reality and fiction. If a wrestler had an upset in their own personal life, Vince would often use this bit of real life information to add on to the storyline in WWE.
Q said that great actors make a good movie, but a story teller is equally important. Vince has spent over 40 years writing scripts of underdogs, betrayals, redemption, villains that win by cheating, and glorious comebacks. As there are numerous events that unravel, it is necessary that a master storyteller has a key part of directing the story. How can Covid be used to reveal the real nature of the medical industry? How can the Ukraine War teach us about foreign influence in US politics?
How will a Democrat favorite like Barak Obama eventually turned into an evil heel in the view of most Americans? This kind of script writing is not likely to be done by a US General or a special forces soldier. This kind is something that will be done by a reality\fiction storyteller, and love him or hate him Vince is the best there is.
Recall that Mrs. McMahon ran for the Senate twice in CT. One of those elections was probably stolen from her. WWE attempted to get a white hat in the game.
She also served in trumps cabinet
Doubtful. Linda McMahon is, ironically considering her husband's line of work, boring and bland as dogshit. She lost because of that, and her association with WWE (which at the time, was coming off the tail-end of it's really edgy phase)
Parts of what you say may be true. She was very scripted. But also, the election was also stolen from her. And I am in CT and I can tell you WWE did not hurt her at all. The election was stolen from her. All of our elections are stolen from us. The suburbs get redder with real people and then inner cities get bluer with fake people.
When she was campaigning, I spoke to her at the North Branford RTC she said Chris Jericho was as awesome a guy I assumed.
In 1984, my town has a random Flag day parade. I was in the boy scouts. We're hanging out at Lyman Hall high school all ready to go and then all of a sudden a camouflage painted limo shows up.
I only know one dude who has a camo limo.
We were all wondering if it could be Sgt Slaughter - he just made a face turn and was at his height of popularity.
After what seemed an eternity the door opens.
It is Sgt. Slaughter. And we all lost our minds.
Vince McMahon gave us all of us a truly glorious day. I will always love him for that. Slaughter was just so cool. I love him too.
