It’s always good to bring light to any allegations, if for no other reason than visibility.

We can’t be afraid of discovering that people and groups we support are really just playing us.

Trust - or distrust - but verify should always be the approach.

I think most of us are just especially cautious of controlled opposition. So I can’t blame people for assuming the worst when inflammatory info pops up

Meh, you hedge your bets sometimes. Better to be ready to talk about problems of our own side than be willfully blind to it like the left.

I didn't even see much smearing here, just people saying "if it's true, he should be held to account"
