They've had 2-3 armed separatist movements since the 90's, and will have more if they don't sort it out. For now it looks good.

And the main concern is Generals buying Mansions and taking extravagant vacations. At the moment I’d say that’s a trade off many in Mexico would take when compared to their previous situation.

One wonders to what extent this may be involved in the present coup in Niger and the governments in Mali and Burkina Faso.
