Ice core data going back 100k years is very clear. The climate is a fucking roller coaster and has been since the earth got an atmosphere. Some years the earth cooled by 15 degrees. Some years it got warmer by 5-6. Wild swings.

Yes. And people also fail to consider the effect volcanic eruptions have on climate, even global climate. We couldn’t dream of doing the amount of “damage” a massive ash cloud can, but that’s entirely natural and the earth manages just fine. Something like all the pollution of the whole Industrial Revolution is belched out at once when a volcano erupts, and the earth barely notices.
