I just watched it and I did like it. It assuredly had some belly laugh moments. British slapstick is a genre all its own. I am betting you and morum are guys and as a gal, I have noticed that guys are partial to bathroom humor. So I forgive you for choosing the Holy grail over princess bride.
Haahh! Well, you’re right. My family has always had a good sense of humor and it was a healthy environment being raised in. MP was arguably the funniest thing we saw in the 70’s-‘80’s, but early SNL cast and Cheech & Chong were right up there. I love Princess Bride actually, and it was my 2 daughters and ex-wife that turned me on to it. Truly a Classic flik.
It’s a Classic and needs to be on a loop. The French castle scene, Sir Brian bravely running away songs…SO much there.

I will bet you're a fan of a Fish Called Wanda. Wickedly funny.
That was good, but it’s been so long I forget the details. I need to watch that again…tx for reminder!!
