Truth Social is still insisting that they send me a text message to my cell phone to verify who I am. They refuse to send me an email verification like every other forum on the internet does.
It’s the most effective way to weed out bots. Phone numbers are a bit challenging for fake accounts to come up with when you filter out VoIP numbers.
I don't see why I should have to go and buy a phone for $1500 just so I can join a forum.

My phone plan is 33 a month and my phone was 200$ however there are even cheaper phones than that. No need to pay 1500 for a phone
