There's also been reports the last few days of Biden preparing to declare a 'climate emergency' lockdown, so it'll be one or the other. They will do it, but like you say hopefully people will ignore it in sufficient numbers this time.
Yep. They'll use the fires as the "climate emergency" or the "new strain of covid" as the pandemic emergency. As user Qanaut said on this same thread, the DS is running out of cards to play. And hopefully players to play with (sheeple).
