5. Personally, I used to work for an energy company in Portland Oregon I know that number 1 and 4 on this article are correct. I also know that they used cell technology. Last year, they installed one on my house. It also caused a lot of EMF and created headache and illness for me and my dogs. Bobo and Solly started to get tumors and I got lots of headaches. It also jack up your electric bills. I got it for four months and I immediately was able to tell that something was wrong. I placed an EMF screen on it, but the bills continued to go up and after about four months, I decided that it's enough and asked them to remove it.
Here is how I requested them to do it.
- Look up the operation manager for your location. Get a name, and an address.
- Go here, https://stopsmartmeters.org/sample-letters-to-utility/, download the letter, and replace names, address, account number, utility companies...etc
- Send the letter certify to the operation manager
- Wait.
- If they do not respond, sign up for one month of LegalShield (if you are in U.S), and ask your attorney to draft a letter.
They might charge you to change out the smart meter and send someone every month to read the meter. Trust me, it's still cheaper to do that then to have that smart meter in the long run.

I have to pay the utility $15 a month to NOT have a smart meter. They installed one when I wasn't home after I had already called them and told them no. Made them come back the same day and put a manual read meter back on. It's dumb but I'd rather pay that extra 15 than have that shit 4 feet from my head while I sleep.

Obviously it's not shielding the inside of the house. In fact it might be concentrating radiation inside! But it might prevent it from transmitting data, which means you'll receive a visit.
I suggest sticking aluminium foil to the wall inside your house. Make the area substantially larger than the meter.
EDIT: to protect your house from fire (if wooden) mount the meter on a large sheet of metal on the outside.
Have dogs outside, they will have to read it using binoculars.
They sometimes go to your neighbor's yard and use binoculars. Otherwise, they would have you read it to them. It happens also.
I got one. It still cost me more on electricity bill with the meter installed so I finally decided to ask them to remove it and pay for the removal fee and monthly reading fee.

I noticed the unburnt homes almost all had visible solar panels. Those homes with solar panels have analog meters. I have one, I placed some neodymium magnets all over it to try to negate its effects. I placed the most magnets onto the outlet/inlet cables.
