Good ad but were dealing with people who reject reality and facts if it goes against their biased worldview. Gotta have shortened links to sources to back up those truthful claims.
I have nothing against links and sources. Yet ads work on emotions, not logic and links and sources. An ad has only 30 - 60 seconds to get your attention, capture your emotions, and connect them to your message.
To use a sales analogy : with an ad lasting a few seconds, you're looking for an impulse buy rather than an educated buying decision. A sudden, point-of-sale purchase of your message in the viewer's mind, based on the EMOTION it created. And this ad delivers bigly in that department IMHO.
It's a time-honored maxim of sales and marketing that, in general, people will MAKE a decision based on emotion; then JUSTIFY the decision using logic. Knowing this one core fundamental fact has brought success to many a smart marketer.
I completely agree. But i think my point still stands. I believe id be able to make my version of the ad work but i have no video editing skills. I think simply adding a QR code to each slide would be perfect. Then instead of the slide transitioning to the next one have it transform down to a small portion in the corner just as a QR code. That way each slide info is still present the whole time.
