Secret Service would shut the whole jail down and kick everyone out to make it secure for PDJT.
I’m sure Bongino would know and for him to suggest it makes me think they stay with the President. How can they protect him if not? It’s a good question.

If bail is set at $200k, he only has to pay 1/10 to get out .... right?

And if they really think he'll leave the country and want to keep him around, there would have been NO BAIL. So .... they WANT him to post bail and do SOMETHING that they can use to say "see, he's guilty."
That being said, it wouldn't surprise me if he stayed in jail .... so long as his SS detail could assure his safety.
I think this would be if he uses a bail bond.....where somebody else puts up the full amount. Which is for poor folks. It will look bad.

That depends on how the bail is set. If a cash-only bond then the whole amount. The other way would to go through a bondsman but I doubt PDJT would bother with that since he's, like you said, probably got 200K in pocket change.

Secret Service would have to take over jail to secure it for PDJT. No other inmates, no jail employees unless cleared by Secret Service - just Trump and his Secret Service detail.

Agreed - to a point. It would all come down to what the SS thought they needed to do in order to secure him. Would you trust any of the prison guards? Inmates? Cooks? Medical staff?
