Salty Cracker and Wall Street Apes are now insinuating it. The op was a success, they've created a narrative binary where either space lasers did it or climate change (MSM narrative) did it. Meanwhile the much more likely story (strategic arson ahead of high winds + collusion with crooked state and local officials to mishandle the response on purpose) has effectively been shoved under the rug. Now instead of having the entire internet digging into that to possibly find some arsonists or conspiracies to mishandle response, they are instead "laser focused" on space lasers.
Of course, if the DEW theory is correct, this is fine. I just don't think it is.

What specifically is hard to believe about directed energy weapons? They exist, and they work.
The persuasion term "SPACE LASERS" is akin to labeling ivermectin "horse goo" and hydroxychloroquine "drinking bleach".
It facilitates easy ridicule and dismissal without thought, as if it's childish or fantasy talk.
It IS childish and fantastic. You are on better ground arguing for F-16s and napalm bombs. Oops, there would be evidence of that, wouldn't there? The only benefit of DEWs is the lack of evidence---but the lack of evidence only suggests...the lack of DEWs. It is like invoking an invisible monster. "What invisible monster?" "You can't see it." "Then how do you know it is there?" "Because if you can't see it, it must be there?" (Raised eyebrows.)
I say space lasers to troll and belittle it because I don't believe it's helpful to the movement, same vein as Stew Peter's snake venom etc
