PSA: Every time the subject comes up, I feel it necessary to remind everyone that the brand name for remdesivir is VEKLURY. Do not let any medical "professional" fool you or a loved one into taking this because it's somehow "better", or "different."
EXACT. SAME. DRUG.
(and btw, it's 'paxlovid', not 'paxlovir.' Prob just a typo.)
Thank you for this reminder. They tried fooling us when my dad was hospitalized. I honestly think the nurses even thought it was different. I asked them to find out and they came back and told me I was right. Veklury is Remdesivir.
Every drug has a drug name (the actual name of the drug itself) and a trade name (the name used in TV commercials and other forms of marketing, and on the box). Some drugs have multiple trade names, one for each company that shares patent rights to produce it under exclusivity. When a drug is around long enough for companies to start producing generic versions, the generics will be called by the drug name, NOT the trade name.
Veklury = trade name
Remdesivir = drug name
Doctors and pharmacists will sometimes use the names interchangeably, and that can be confusing to people. Veklury and Remdesivir are the same drug.

There’s another drug related to remdesivir that they are trying to authorize now- GOHIBIC (vilobelimab). Linked tweet with more info: https://x.com/realdefender45/status/1693807284705489365?s=46
They just never quit, do they? Thanks for the update; I'll add it to my notes.
Ahh....
Remdesivir (any brand) = Death
example
Instead, if you even like the person a little bit, follow this protocol, which saved several of my family and friends:
Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance
remember the nurses would joke and call it "Run Death is Near"
Imagine liking other people... lul

Hard to believe it is even legal to give anyone Remdesivir at this point!
Honestly, considering the current state of things, no, it's not hard to believe at all.
Yes, hairnet was one of these. Like spraying super glue on your hair!
Wasn't that due to the "ozone hole"; ban on freon?
