Also; I'd LOVE if anyone could try to disprove me; I need to spend some time searching for motorcades of bush & clinton, ESP. right after leaving office when presumably their profile would be highest.

I could see a former president getting enhanced security for ~6-12 mo. after leaving office, but not for life.

Again I could well be wrong but I just can't imagine that bush, clinton, hussein, Jimmy Carter (when he was alive) got a full-blown, standard presidential motorcade for the entire rest of their lives.....

No freakin' way.....
