I always appreciate data so that the truth can be found & thank you for your opinion on this.
I cannot verify, & have tried, though if it is true there are no communications able to get in or out of Lahina, or Maui, then that could be why we aren't hearing about it.
That said, we have seen some reporters showing some of the aftermath & have been claiming that no one is allowed to go intouch if the burned area, no drones allowed either IIRC according to Hawaii Real Estate on YouTube. https://youtu.be/Q9L9WvlCli0 I believe is the video that made this claim, though there are many hours I have listened to while cleaning & may be wrong about it being the video that made the claim.
My question is why not allow drones to record? If they aren't hiding children, what are they hiding?
As of Monday only 538 of the Lahaina students had reenrolled in other Hawaii public schools, and 438 students had signed up for the State Distance Learning Program, according to a “Maui Wildfire Impacts” report that state Schools Superintendent Keith Hayashi is scheduled to present today at a state Board of Education meeting.
That leaves 2,025 Lahaina students “who have not enrolled in another public school or opted for distance learning (may have moved out of state, enrolled in private schools),” Hayashi’s report says.
Someone on here the other day said the same thing happened in Paradise CA after their fire, and the "authorities" said they didn't want drones getting footage of burnt bodies while they were cleaning the area up and looking for victims.
I somewhat buy that. However - they could get someone (police, guard, even a priest) to get drone footage, examine for bodies, and blur them.
This makes sense & I agree that those bodies could be blurred out if needed. It is respectful on many levels. Unfortunately proving truth is also a necessity in these days too.

edit- Seems you have offered a case for 1k students being transferred to private schools. https://greatawakening.win/p/16c2WCMjCD/x/c/4TwSiLPZtxt

Disinformation is powerful and many get caught up in the group think.
