We always hear the story of how Nixon was super paranoid, and he had a team of bandits break into the offices of the DNC to steal some information. I believe Nixon had one of the greatest landslides ever when he went against McGovern. From my understanding, he would have easily won the next election and should have been of little concern of his. So why the desperation to participate in this?

A woman has consistently claimed Richard Nixon (as well as Billy Graham and Ted Turner) raped her when she was a young teen. We know that the DS encourages this behaviour so they can forever blackmail the office holder. What if they filmed all of these acts and then began blackmailing Tricky Dick?

Such blackmail seems to be something that Nixon would likely wish to do anything to save himself from. But perhaps he was set up by the DS to go send a team to steal what they believed was sex tapes, but was just to set him up. It seems almost too convenient how those recordings were recovered. There's always something that conveniently appears to help with the DS agenda -- Water Gate recordings, 911 passports, the intercepted Zimmerman Telegraph, the Fake Russian Dossier.

After getting caught, Nixon didn't put up a fight at all. Instead he immediately resigned for the good of the country. Plausible?
