So was mine. For 3 generations on my mothers side the Cherokee women married Irishmen. That makes us a Cherish.

Congrats on being a Cherish. You'd be surprised how many Cherokee women married into the Irish family. I'm sure there had to be some Cherokee men who perhaps married some Irish women, but I don't hear of that very often.
