Homeschool!! I wish more people would quit worrying about their money issues and homeschool their children. Like I get it but God will always provide and that's what people forget and as long as you're doing what you need to do God will provide.
He has and he will. Just graduated my youngest. Best decision ever.... the teachers unions hate homeschoolers. Every year the fight in the state legislature to prevent access to certain things, even though we pay taxes and save the state thoudands of dollars per kid.
This is the way. We switched last year and were able to complete first grade in 5 months with providing an average of 1.5 hours of teaching a day. No clue why schools take so long to teach the same material and they still send the kids home with more work to do. We feel like it has been the best decision ever as well.
Yep! Astoundingly inefficient. My boys got an actual childhood because of the time we reclaimed. I'll forever be grateful for that. Enjoy! These years truly are precious. Read them lots of books while you can. Once they read fast they'll want to read on their own. :)
You are so right. With how both parents work, you pretty much let the schools raise your kids. We are currently reading him: Way of the Warrior Kid: From Wimpy to Warrior the Navy SEAL Way - Jocko Willink
Because they need to teach to the lowest common denominator, not the brightest minds. Otherwise they would have 27 A students, 1000 C students and 1000 repeating the grade every year

This is true.
There is another important factor which is the teacher to student ratio. Here is the states it averages around 10 students per teacher. With the second teacher being an assistant. Where in the business and military world, it has been proven that team size should not exceed 5 employees/men per leader.
My friends want to homeschool, but they lack the confidence. I told them to do it, but unfortunately, jabbed so they can go to school.
