Please make sure you do your own research. I am not a lawyer.
Exactly.
So why are you using him as an example of tactics used by the Sovereign Citizens Movement working in a court of law?
He died as a "major fugitive" with warrants out for his arrest for tax evasion. But you're trying to say he's evidence his tactics work to legally avoid paying taxes.
Do you really not see what's wrong with all of this?
I get what you are saying...but you are faulting him for doing something within the law that pissed off the government...it is the government that was acting illegally so I don't see how that means that Bill failed to be successful in not paying taxes because he didn't pay taxes...it only proves how corrupt the government is.
I'm not faulting him for anything.
I'm saying that it makes zero sense to bring him up as a success story for tactics used by the Sovereign Citizens Movement working in courts of law.
Hell, anyone can just not pay their taxes. It's not difficult to not pay them. You just have to become a fugitive and spend all your time doing your best to evade capture and then go out with a bang (literally) when you're finally caught.
But you have not listened to what HE said about his situation...you are reading news stories which we know how truthful they are...I get the feeling you have not listened to Bill Cooper...but nonetheless we have probably said all that needs to be said...I just found his legal tactics to be quite interesting...it is sad there is not a way to circumvent these illegal tactics of the govenment to steal money from the people...
I'll listen to his lectures when I get a chance to focus on them.
But no matter what is in those lectures, he still died as a fugitive with warrants for his arrest for tax evasion.
And it doesn't matter what biased news reporters have to say, either.
Their opinions don't have anything to do with the fact that he had warrants out for his arrest for tax evasion when he died.
Just because I point out that he's not a success story for the Sovereign Citizens Movement doesn't mean I agree with the government's position on anything.
I simply found it bizarre that you brought him up as a response to me saying that I've never seen tactics used by the Sovereign Citizens Movement working in any court case. His story actually proves my point.
But we keep going around and around in circles here. And I don't know why. 🤷
