I agree it was the venue and that was spearheaded by Ticket Master/Livenation (same company). I also think the record label pushed people. They always have the option to leave but when they do in most cases the label owns their music. (Research Taylor Swift leaving her label.) I used to go to at least two concerts a month until 3/2020. When they started back we refused to bend. We saw our friends get the vax to go. Travis Tritt is the only one I know of that refused to play venues that required vaccines. Then Kid Rock refused also. I can't speak for pop or other rock bands. Kenny Chesney took off for two years until it was over. He made the statement he would start back when it was safe for everyone. I wonder if he didn't want to make the fans deal with it. He's always been hard charging since 1994 and until 2020 only took one year off due to complete exhaustion.
