Could the Writer's strike be a way to start arresting Hollywood without anyine noticing?
🤔💭 Theory 😲💡
If everyone in Hollywood were to disappear overnight, everyone would notice. Not the case if there's a writer strike happening.
Maybe when the strike is over, the public will already have a good idea about their evils.
Maybe not all of Hollywood is taken down, but enough executives and producers to put a halt to things.
Maybe this is dumb. Just putting it out there.
That's definitely going to happen. There will be no new content next year. No new movies. Movie theater chains will go under. No new sitcoms, dramas, Netflix specials. Hollywood will collapse.
I figure crowdsourced projects & production companies like Angel Studios will survive. Likely Studios that are distributed via PureFlix, or heavily tied to them will continue to survive.
Just considering that hundreds or thousands of donors/investors would keep these ones afloat vs the destruction of big single investor Studios who force some narrative for those large investments.

Doesn’t apply for non-union talent and production crews. But it’s also virtually guaranteed that they will not get their projects greenlit by the studios.
There could be a rebirth of the entertainment industry, led by independents. They just need funding to get their projects produced and released on alternate theaters and online platforms

"We are the news now," will apply to media across the board.
