Well, it was made up quite recently and when it started appearing, I looked in the dictionary for its meaning. Not there. So with pro meaning professional, or in favor of something, or before, I thought it a strange word. So I have put it in the same category as reiterate, which has always seemed a bit reredundant.
Just tried again. Wasn't in my 1965 webster nor was it in my 1980's something one in the office. Synonym of iterate is repeat. So rerepeat is good? And the vast majority of reiterating are in fact the first iteration in that conversation. Reredundant.

1933 is not that recently.
Reiterate is literally redundant for a reason.
You iterate something. You reiterate it afterwards.
