I think Malik is bitter towards Obama and just does whatever he can to diminish him.

Family members can become so angry they become vicious. You can't believe everything they say, no matter how much you'd like to. Just look at what Trump's niece, Mary, has done to try to harm his reputation.

Come on. Obama's Uncle didn't get any White House visits, and wasn't his Aunt on some housing assistance program up around Boston? He teated his black relatives like shit.

I don't doubt that he mistreated them. It's one reason his half-brother is so angry at him. But that doesn't mean he's 100% truthful in what he says.
