I agree with OP's notion that these metrics are indeed biblical, describing a few different facets of humanity's innate nature to sin and/or be deceived.
However, I would've worded the context differently. Yes, society is healthier without all of the nonsensical and manufactured "wants" in life vs what we truly "need". E.g. We don't need collectibles because of manufactured nostalgia thrown at us via decades of social engineering. We want those things because we think they are important to us because we are taught that they should be. A true need is love, clothing, shelter, food, etc.
I often think about this. How liberty and independence doesnt seem to be the correct attitude that is compatible with following and serving. My desire to be independent and do what I want becomes my default mindset, but that is what leads us into trouble with our journey with god because we might fall into the pitfall of doing what we want instead of what He wants. I always try to keep that in mind.
What you describe is the loss of humility. It is called Pride, the worst of the seven deadly sins.
Agreed. With a healthy dose of anti-consumerism.

I don't think it's about shame.
There is a mental biology issue when it comes to walking around nude.
We are hardwired by nature to procreate. You cannot stop that connection to nature.
God has given us the 10 commandments such as (Thou shall not take your neighbor's wife).
This was God's way of telling us that we must restrain our sexual urges.
Humans walking around naked would be a very distracting event for a lot of people.
Could you imagine showing up to work naked? Some super attractive model-looking person sit right next to you.
Yeah... most people wouldn't be able to work and focus through that.
lol :)
I totally get your point :)
