She's exactly right, even though this seems to be a movie. From what I understand, around the industrial revolution the Rockefeller family developed the modern public school system designed to crank out employee mentality people. Those who believe that working a job till they are one foot in the grave is 'normal', those who are enslaved to the almighty paycheck and run their lives around being part of a company to make that company exponentially more wealthy while they live off the scraps left over, and don't get me started on taxes... Now with that being said, I don't find anything wrong with working as a productive and important member of society, everyone is gonna need a plumber lets be real kek. But my point is, this system has been twisted and deformed to work us literally to deaths door, while we are constantly stressed about scraping by. At that point the normal person has no mental capacity or energy to think independently or critically, just how they're going to survive the next day or week. I've been there, some days I still am. The point I'm trying to make is we have an education system, at this time, designed only to mass produce drones, promote lifetime 'prison', and squash any free thinking anyone might have. It's designed to make us complacent and subservient from a young age, to whomever we've been told has the 'authority', even if they're wrong or, God forbid, evil. Teach your kids to think differently, find solutions outside the box, and never compromise on their morals. We as humans have limitless potential and I believe we can reach our God given potential once we break free of the matrix we've been subjected to. We are all Neo.
And when you do try to leave, they get the school officer to hunt you down.
Can't have anyone leaving the propaganda plantation.
My daughter really likes that movie. I think it's called dream land or something.
Slumberland - 2022 Jason Momoa and Marlowe Barkley "A young girl discovers a secret map to the dreamworld of Slumberland, and with the help of an eccentric outlaw, she traverses dreams and flees nightmares, with the hope that she will be able to see her late father again."
Yup that's it.
