The Fifth Circuit court of appeals outlines how the Biden administration totally violated the first amendment, by forcing and coercing social media and other organizations to ban speech, block opinion and censor information they determined was against their interests. Any time a progressive democrat claims their leadership would not destroy this nation, simply put the appellate court ruling back in front of their face and walk away.

The panel decision modified the injunction against federal officials to now read:
Defendants, and their employees and agents, shall take no actions, formal or informal, directly or indirectly, to coerce or significantly encourage social-media companies to remove, delete, suppress, or reduce, including through altering their algorithms, posted social-media content containing protected free speech. That includes, but is not limited to, compelling the platforms to act, such as by intimating that some form of punishment will follow a failure to comply with any request, or supervising, directing, or otherwise meaningfully controlling the social-media companies’ decision-making processes.
Now if we can only get a decent trial and hold them accountable for what they’ve done, maybe we can MAGA
Inch by inch, step by step we will see justice. It's just a matter of time. 👍
What is the punishment of violating the 1st amendment? I don't don't think the founders gave a redress. Doesn't that mean that the court can decide? I think the only remedy would have to start with the immediate removal of all guilty parties? No? I hope so. Maybe this is when we have a military govt until the election.....
We do have a remedy under federal law (and probably state laws are similar).
18 USC 241: Conspiracy Against Rights
We are talking the dealth penalty here.
Maybe State AG's also need to consider trying to establish a new legal doctrine whereby if the federal government empolyees refuse to enforce their own laws, then the states can use federal laws and enforce them wholly within State courts and prisons, and that includes arresting, prosecuting, and punishing federal employees.
Would be great for legal minds to have a discussion about how to go about doing this.
We also should repeal the 17th Amendment, which is an unconstitutional amendment in the first place, and is the reason why the States do not have the power they were originally intended to have over the federal government.
As to the last paragraph, I agree the 17th amendment should be repealed, but I can’t understand how an amendment to the Constitution could be unconstitutional.
Way too many people on both sides of the aisle sloppily use "unconstitutional" to mean "I don't like it".
That is sort of an oxymoron isn't it? And unconstitutional constitutional amendment.
Like saying an unbiblical bible verse.
That's what I was wondering / hoping for. If they are executed they can not continue to hold office. Can pResident, VP judges & etc be executed instead of impeached & etc
Goes in Wins for the Day!
It's not just Biden admin though. This happened under Trump, and it happened before him too. It is specifically an exemplification of deep state bureaucracy, unelected people in control of government that pressures and cooperates with the private sector to violate our rights.
By pinning the entirety of the blame on Biden, it misses -- and dismisses -- the core issue by deflecting it away from the bureaucracy.
Good. But I can't believe CISA and DHS got a pass.,,,,oh you mean that pass was the bait?????
Yup the affect of their unconstitutional activity has already had it's affect. Next go around they will just do same thing with a slightly different twist and play ignorant that the were violating the spirit of the law.
“Laws without enforced consequences are merely suggestions.”
