I personally think the Republican don’t need to get their hands dirty at this point, let the democrats take him out themselves.

Perhaps the GOP waited to begin impeachment in order to maximize damage to the Biden campaign during the election cycle.

They don’t have the votes to remove Biden, so I can see the logic in waiting. Use it as a campaign smear.
