Kudos to him for wanting to do the right thing and taking a stand... but as others pointed out, you need real infrastructure to support giant crowds - that balloons things out... parking, toilets, concessions etc

He got thrown into the deep end, he has ideals and they're crashing into reality... once he works out the math it will be all good. But hopefully he will be able to focus on artistic creation more than the business side with good men around him.
