Mirrors reflect visible light. The DEW is probably not in the visible spectrum and would not be reflected by the mirror. EG, radio waves pass through a mirror (you don't have a radio dead zone on one side of a mirror) and infrared passes through a mirror (apply heat to one side, the other side will get hot as well), even though light doesn't.

I think the term "DEW" has been thrown around all over the alt-sphere so casually that people have this insane imagination that a laser coming down like superman's beam, setting fire to places with precision.

A more plausible explanation as outlined in this post is using multiple satellites focus their transmissions using "phased array antenna" approach. Simply put, think of two water ripples a few meters apart, colliding and causing troughs. When multiple of such ripples are created precisely, it is possible to create a trough much much stronger than the individual transmission.
