Paxton started to go after Big Pharma for bad vaccines. Then, almost in reply, he was impeached.

And he beat the last (currently remaining) Bush that could enter the big leagues in Texas politics. Crossing the Bushes in TX can be fatal to a political career, although that may be over now that Paxton soundly beat them.
