Logged into one of my breast cancer groups and one of the main contributors is heavily pushing the new US jabs as more effective, free, and for 12+ yr Olds. So many chiming in how they can't wait to get the new ones and also their flu jabs. One said she made it fine with no jabs. I commented "no thanks. I don't want to get a case of the suddenlies or turbocancer." My comment was of course deleted within the hour. Guys, these are cancer "survivors" this year is going to bad for them and they won't allow anyone to warn them.

Ever have teenagers????
Trying to force them awake will see them retreat deeper under the covers and work even harder at staying asleep.
It's a silly analogy but it's true.
What works is giving them a reason to wake up.
You have to disguise it as something positive, something they want.
You have to give them a reason to take a step forward on their own so that they step into something that gives them reason to pause......
Unfortunately that isn't easy and very much individual and situation dependent, it can be done but most of the time it isn't worth the effort, so it's best to limit tio those one genuinely love as they are the only ones you know well enough to give it a genuine chance of working.
Sometimes truth is sad....
Yeah!
Try telling them they get no more stuff because the parents (US gov) has been living on credit the past 20 years and they can’t even make the minimum payments or get another credit card.
I actually have 4 teens currently. They are typically pretty based and reasonable. For which I'm thankful. Doesn't mean we don't have disagreements but we are usually able to work them out. My boys are currently building a 42x70 shop on my property as a compromise we came to. They are doing all the work and paying for it. (16 & 17 yrs old)
