As a Man Thinketh, So is He

‘It has been usual for men to think and to say, "Many men are slaves because one is an oppressor; let us hate the oppressor." Now, however, there is amongst an increasing few a tendency to reverse this judgment, and to say, "One man is an oppressor because many are slaves; let us despise the slaves."’
- James Allen, “As a Man Thinketh”
One of my favorite books.
I enjoy the part about how the outward, physical body morphs to LOOK like what you are on the inside.
Hence the physical repulsiveness of Godless libs......
In fact, adopted children can physically morph to look like their adopted families.
yes this is true am adopted & people told me I wasn’t, that I looked like my mom. think maybe it’s the mannerisms that start to morph the physical. she’s proper and reserved, has certain expressions and I was around her all the time
100%
When Moses went inside the cave to speak to God, God said, "I am that I am". He's in all of us. If you think you're a slave then you're a slave.
‘Tempest-tossed souls, wherever ye may be, under whatsoever conditions ye may live, know this in the ocean of life the isles of Blessedness are smiling, and the sunny shore of your ideal awaits your coming. Keep your hand firmly upon the helm of thought. In the bark of your soul reclines the commanding Master; He does but sleep: wake Him. Self-control is strength; Right Thought is mastery; Calmness is power. Say unto your heart, "Peace, be still!"’
I am doomed in that case.
Change your mindset, change your life.
Just like that eh, who do you despise?
Proverbs 23
1When thou sittest to eat with a ruler, consider diligently what is before thee:
2And put a knife to thy throat, if thou be a man given to appetite.
3Be not desirous of his dainties: for they are deceitful meat.
4Labour not to be rich: cease from thine own wisdom.
5Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? for riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven.
6Eat thou not the bread of him that hath an evil eye, neither desire thou his dainty meats:
7For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.
8The morsel which thou hast eaten shalt thou vomit up, and lose thy sweet words.
