Lots o normies around me will still fall for it hook line and sinker........as long as the mainstream media is coordinated in their message.
Lots of older normies still can’t believe the ‘news’ would ever ‘deceive’ or mislead them on purpose - they might spout some political rhetoric or opinions but would never ‘lie’.
They will start this crap again with our enamored leaders and gin up some sympathy and get everyone (media and everyday joe) stirred up and talking about it. Then, it isn’t soooooo bad when they turn around and install policy/ procedure etc. to lock-down / mandate.
They will suffer from "Uncle Walter" syndrome until the day they pass away. The older generation really believed whatever Cronkite or Severide or Jennings spewed forth because our parents believed in an inherent honesty that America stood for. They could never believe that people in power would lie, cheat on their spouse, yes, but not lie to the American people. Was a different mind set a few decades ago, but the newer generations have learned that politicians lie and steal. That big money is what turns votes into bigger money. And corruption corrupts everything around it. Our parents could not see that, but we can.
