Techtubers performing teardowns and finding cameras and such is an apolitical thing; the anti Trump establishment was wholly political, and people were willing to subvert the law and justify every action possible whether they were paid to or not in order to attack Trump.
Too many techtubers do the teardown of these sorts of things; they literally wouldn't be able to implement that.
Hiding inaccessible code that could, say, activate microphones or cameras would be much easier.
