I've been searching around Brave, but in the end my lack of Social Media blocks any favorable search result. Fakebook in particular. Why would they do this festival so close to the folks that despise these things? It was directly attacked, no?

But why have a concert at the most controversial border in the entire world?
My first thought was… Who the hell goes on vacation to a”Peace Concert” anywhere near gaza on purpose?
The same types of people who go backpacking through middle east or african shitholes, to virtue signal that they're 'good people' who assumes the best out of everyone (who isn't white) and to try and prove that those shitholes aren't shitholes.
Well, that and truly naive people with more money than good sense who legit think they can bring peace by throwing a party...
Honestly, a feast would be better...hard to stay pissed off on a full belly...just saying...
So... if the attack went down as the narrative claims, Hamas was raising the collective IQ of the world.
And we're supposed to hate that?
Reminds me of the guy who thought it was a good idea for him & his girlfriend to hang out with brown bears.
It’s the same picture!
where does it say it was a peace concert? I haven't seen that.
It’s part of a tweet from
Paul Hookem
He posts a picture of the girl from Germany, before she got killed, and mentioned it being a Peace concert. That’s my only sauce.
If you have a Twitter, I guess you can look it up. I only have a screenshot of it.
He's not an objective or first hand source. I just saw his tweet.
We have the press release on eventer, "peace" is never mentioned.
There's a bunch of utopian stuff you can hear at every rave in the world.
the central driving force behind it is a set of fundamental and important human values: Free love and spirit, environmental preservation, appreciation of rare natural values that the festival embodies Every two years, it spreads the love for exquisite electronic music in all its variations, establishes an authentic connection to the social-artistic ideology, and channels all these elements for empowerment and the dissemination of the trance culture, which emerges as a universal cosmic light from the wild jungle and spreads throughout the world.
But it's not a political event.
The festival is out of Brazil and here's the language they use in Brazil https://universoparalello.org/
Amid the turmoil of these modern times, a window opens, an opportunity to experience something unique, radically different from the web of connections, commitments, the living wheel, the civilizational matrix of established rules to which we are subjected, in the routines of our lives. This space is created to allow the flourishing of a great collective organism that, for eight days, will radiate the energy of freedom, delight, encounter and celebration throughout the planet. And in these eight days of celebration, let us all be complicit... in building an atmosphere of freedom and tolerance.
Of creativity and boldness and a deep respect for nature, utopia is the key and the secret. The real gatewayto an authentic parallel universe
Well… How did that work out for them this time? I guess the cosmic universe wasn’t listening?
It sounds like to me it’s just another international burning Man. A crap ton of people get together and do lots of drugs, and then claim to want to be at peace and love with one another.
Edit: also, for the record… I don’t care what kind of a rave it was. If it was for peace, love, or drugs, it doesn’t matter to me.
The whole idea of having an event like that at the Gaza Strip is the stupidest idea ever. Period.
This is a well known location for conflict and turmoil. If you were truly seeking an event where you can transcend into some cosmic peace, wouldn’t you seek out a location that would allow that vibration to even happen.
There aren’t enough drugs that anyone can take, to transcend the hatred and negative energy that has been infused in that location for the last 50 years.
People are stupid. Play stupid games win stupid prizes.
Can you imagine… You’re hanging out with your friends and they are asking you questions like
hey… are you guys going to the rave at the Gaza Strip?
Yeah man - of course I’m going I wouldn’t miss it for the world.
But what about all the civil unrest between Israel and Palestine?
Oh… that’s no big deal… All of our cool vibrations of peace, joy, and love will overcome all the negativity!
This is how stupid all this sounds!
I haven’t heard one story being printed about the culpability of this event, and how people lost lives!
