Perhaps I live in a a religious bubble - ( I am Catholic, who does NOT support the socialist a$$hole in the Vatican).
But I have never been able to understand the hatred for the Jewish people. Why do so many people hate them?
What did they do to piss everyone off?
The ONLY thing I dislike about them has nothing to do with them, but the ads someone plays, non-stop, on the TV asking for $$$ to help the holocaust survivors.
I told hubby a few years ago, how can they keep playing these ads for money when most, if not all of the survivors, are long gone?
But I digress...
Why do so many people hate the Jewish population? Because they are financially successful?
Any input is welcomed!
The whole story all the way back to 'creation.' I think existence probably just is. It doesn't need a creator because most likely there never was a beginning.
It must be really hard to see what is happening in the world and not have the faith to know that God’s got this. The Bible (the Truth) is a document that contains 66 books, written by around 40 different authors over a period of roughly 2,000 years, and it explains in great detail what is happening in the world right now. If not for the Bible and the knowledge that there is nothing new under the sun, I would not be in a position of standing strong right now, I’d be hiding under the bed.
Without faith, this world looks pretty hopeless right now.
But God.
Yes, I need your belief system so I can stop using the awesome power of the human nervous system to experience the wonder of existence directly. Thank you.
Shaking off my sandals.
How come god didn't know what the universe is when he wrote your book? Either he didn't know or it was written by people who didn't know or they were keeping it secret. Either way it's not good for the B.S. (belief system) now that we have an inkling of the scale of existence.
Yet we live in a mechanistic universe with life/death cycles. Paradox.
Not sure I am smart enough to see the paradox there. Are you drawing a parallel between birth and 'creation?' Like there must have been a creator just as every baby has parents?
Yes, even stars/galaxies are born/die.
It's logical that the Universe had a birth, especially since we can forsee its death.
Read The Big Bang Never Happened by Eric J. Lerner. There is evidence against the expansion of the universe. It's Plasma Theory and it dovetails with the Electric Universe Theory. For one thing there are clusters of galaxies in the form of threads and there are superthreads made of those threads. In an expanding universe there would be no time for such a thing to occur.
