For winter squash, Sweet Mama are yummy. I also like Tetsabuko, but harder to find seed.
Do you all have this catalog? https://kitazawaseed.com/
Ooh, ty! I see they do have Sweet Mamas. 😍 I like the idea of trying some Pak Choi next year.
I have this resource, but I forget to look at it.. lol

They have over 8,000 seed and plant companies listed and reviewed.
I know, I was real active on there for years. It's not what it was before Dave sold it and a lot of the reviews and plant info is old, dating from before the sale. I have ordered from this place and they're terrific. Pinetree Garden Seeds sends nice seeds too and they carry quite a few Asian varieties. Actually, lots of seeds from all over the world. Pinetree's prices are very reasonable too.
That's sad to hear about Dave's. Shows how much I've been on there.
Yeah, I like Pinetree. I tried Johnny's and wasn't thrilled. Territorial and Annie's Heirloom were pretty good.
Hadn't heard of Sweet Mama, will check it out.
I just ordered Tetsukabuto seeds for next year from Etsy.
5 seeds - https://www.etsy.com/listing/951719011/tetsukabuto-hybrid-winter-squash-seed-5
10 seeds - https://www.etsy.com/listing/867792158/tetsukabuto-pumpkin-f1pmvineborercmaxima
I understand that Tetsabuko needs a companion winter squash to fertilize, something like Hubbard or Butternut.
I believe Tetsabuko is a Kabocha. Etsy has about a dozen different varieties of Kabocha.
Ah, I hadn't thought of checking etsy, thanks!
I usually start my ordering in January. I can't wait for the seed catalogs to come..lol
