she did say she would leave, but she wanted her money first. it's her money. they did not comply with her on her wanting her money out of there. they had something of hers and they wouldn't give it to her.
it's different if you are at a store buying something, it's not yours until you pay. in this scenario she had every right to say she wasn't leaving until they gave her, her money, IMO.
I wonder if a case could be made, that since you are an EXISTING customer, there is an elevated privilege or right. Sort of like, this is an HR issue and HR has to get involved....I see it as kicking an owner out, not just a person that has walked in and is considering hiring the business.
Interesting to get something like that in front of a jury.....bet the charges would be drop or changed before a jury had a chance at it.
Sad if this is current. The workers should stand up too or they’ll comply themselves out of jobs.
