The nomination speech for Jeffries gushed about "Area Code 212" . Was this messaging?
Area Code 210 is San Antonio.
210, like 212, is not enough.
Uh - Zeldin isn't even in CONgress anymore. He has been out since Jan 3 of this year.
Also area code 212 is NY. Jeffries represents NY.
Oops. My bad. Also bad that he (Zeldin) got votes, since he resigned or whatever.
Also 212 was the number of Democrats voting for Jeffries in vote rounds 1 & 2. 210 was the number of votes Jeffries received in round 3.
Right on the 212 - thought that was interesting. Zeldin didn't run this time because he ran for Governor of NY. That previously-appointed moron won the governorship. That left Lee Zeldin out in the cold. I only know because I followed that race.
