Methinks you underestimate God's sense of humor. Besides, in regards to list of the millions of thinks that God might find offensive...I bet this would be somewhere in the billions.
Well, here's the thing. This is a meme. It is a witticism. It is taking a cultural iconic (there's that word) image and making a comment and a witticism using it. There is obviously zero intent to induce people to begin worshiping pepe as God (or adam as pepe, for that matter).
it's about looking at and understanding the anon world, the great awakening, as a culturally significant motif.
I AM personally a little offended (sarc) by the way that pepe adam's dingle is blacked out. For pete's sake, God created Adam's dingle as much as he created Adam's finger.
And by a "little offended", I mean, I think it creates a parallel between porn and page 3 photos in British tabloids, not that I'm actually offended, coz I think its great meme. But I think it would be better without the blackout. It's not that huge a dingleberry after all, and its simply there, not sexually activated or aroused, or being used for some lurid purpose.

I can see the idea of the running pepe. Not to be argumentative, not to be critical of your intent and work: running pepe deliberately uses the block out to conjure up the feeling and association with a photo of a streaker in yes, a tabloid or other newspaper. The running/streaking + the block out is a direct linkage to some streaker in the modern era, at a sporting event or some other inane context (why would anyone ever streak at a sporting event?).
On the other hand, the sistine chapel creation of Adam is another thing altogether. It's high art, high culture, so I think a more direct connection - not using a block out - would echo that more effectively.
But I love the meme. It's a great meme. Don't stop. More power to you, fren.

I love it! Michelangelo would, too! ππΈπ
It's like working with mercury. It's high art !
Noice !
Kekk'd out loud.
This is sacrilegious in my view. It is a step backwards to replace our almighty God with a frog, even if it is Pepe.
We don't need anything but God.
It wasn't really a painting of God to begin with. Just one man's portrayal of God. Pretty sure God doesn't look like an old man, but that's just me.

Maybe your right, as long as you don't replace God with Pepe in your heart.

I don't find it sacrilegious or offensive at all.
I believe we have a sense of humor because Our Father has one...and NOTHING could ever make me replace God in my heart fren. Blessings to you!
MD, Pepe nor anything else will ever replace God in my Heart, Soul or Mind.
Sorry if it offends you fren... Did think of this, but then I thought who said god was white? ....this way it represents us all, especially here.
Don't worry, the real one is still there in Italy.
